Comments
Comments: fr59 was snowmobile packed to the trailhead for the skylight pond trail. this trail had a trace of an old snowshoe trough with 6-8 inches of new snow. up on the ridge there was often a foot or more of new snow with some significantly deeper spots. the trail to breadloaf was relatively easy to follow though lightly blazed and grown in at times. heading to wilson it was harder to follow and more grown in. i got us off trail for a bit, but then we got back into the corridor and held it pretty well all the way to wilson. some nice help from numerous moose tracks along the ridge and on the peaks.

we wore snowshoes the whole hike.

nice to get back on the trails with steve for a couple winter peaks. nice fresh powder snow made for great snowshoeing. lots of moose sign and activity along the ridge. thanks to steve and cynthia for a great hike.
