Comments
Comments: Trail was well packed to Montclair Glen, albeit somewhat chopped up from the weekend's barebooters.

Only one set of ski tracks above the lodge, ending in one of the nearby birch glades. Broke trail through unsupportive crust and ~10-15" of unconsolidated granular & powder until losing the LT at around 3,200'. After that ... holy moly. DEEP drifts, like shoulder height and deeper, and spruce trap city. Did the last 100' vertical basically climbing through treetops. My tracks will drift in soon if they haven't already, but if anybody follows them -- take my "down" tracks where they split. My route up was brutal, the trip down somewhat more reasonable. More moderate & more open.

2:40 from the lodge to the summit -- had to earn this one.
