Comments
Comments: On Sunday (5/25/14), my wife and I hiked the Long Trail South to Taft Lodge where we picked up the Profanity Trail. We then hiked the Profanity Trail to the summit. On our descent, we used the Cliff Trail and the Gondola Trail. Parts of the Long Trail were moderately muddy and many of the rocks were slippery/wet. We encountered 5-12' deep patches of packed snow along the upper portions of the Long Trail prior to Taft Lodge. The Profanity Trail was also covered periodically with 5-12' deep patches of packed snow. Additionally, the Profanity Trail was also covered periodically with running water. We encountered less packed snow on the Cliff Trail.
