Comments
Comments: I usually hike in NH but was in Stowe for a conference so sneaked this one in. Nice trail, very steep, with really fun climbing sections near the top. Because I was alone, I decided to take the Profanity Trail down the upper sections to avoid the down climbs. I would not do that again; the trail is aptly named. Very steep, rocky, wet. It does drop elevation fast and is a bad weather bypass, but the down climbing would have been more fun.
