trail is in nice shape. follows a log road for a bit to a landing then leaves the landing up and to the right. the lower trail was real nice with just some minor mud. it became rougher as it started to climb, but some nice work has been done to improve the foot bed in places. the old cabin on top has been improved for use by campers and the tower was in good shape though the cab is a bit beaten up.
this was real nice hike. the views from the tower to northern vt and nh are fantastic. |
