Comments
Comments: Just arrived at the summit as clouds arrived. Snow mostly frozen granular, getting just a little sticky later low. Depth ~1' at State Park, ~2 at start of SSR trail, 3'until on the ridge (as measured by post-holers); on ridge->summit windblown variable. Snowshoes (Tubbs flex Alps) gave me very good traction from trailhead to summit. Nice encounter with Jeremiah, who's into it, who BB without difficulty.[Good luck with that as rain/warm arrives.]
Never tired of time above tree line!
Kestrel data: T=20F W=20mph WC= 2F
Did encounter 2 clueless skiers at summit.
