A few deer flies and a few mosquitoes, but not too bad. Found one tick from walking through the long grass at the summit. |

Trail was mostly dry and in excellent shape - very well maintained. Excellent footing. Views were limited due to the haze, but it looks like a nice summit area - would be perfect on a brisk fall day when the leaves are down. |
