Comments
Comments: Take two, Camels Hump! Easy to find this trail head with the good signage along the way. (no balloons John!) Decided to descend the other side to get away for the crowds. I am not a big fan of tying string all over the summit to herd the hikers along the same paths. People were seated theater style at the top, not my cup of tea, quick picture and lets go check out the cool stuff. Descending the LT around to the Alpine Trail was the best views of the weekend. The skies were clear and Lake Champlain was gorgeous! Then down to see the plane wreckage that Dan had been so excited about. A B24 went down in 1944 with 10, 9 died, 1 survived. We saw the wing and took in the surreal nature of this event. Then off and down to Pro Pig we went! Great hike, Ilovermont!
