Trail Maintenance Notes: good shape. Just very muddy on herd path - ankle deep bogs

Lost and Found: 1 pair of black prescription eye glasses along the herd path to Big Jay - probably along the last 1/4th of the path

Comments: Long Trail to Jay (from North side of VT Rt 242 , Herdpath to Big Jay
Great day for the hike. It did get overcast when I returned to Jay but I had clear views the first pass. Coming down I crossed 1 LT thru hiker(gumball) and 3 LT section hikers all of which planned to finish that day. Also passed over a dozen day hikers just going to Jay.
