Comments
Comments: After hiking Abraham and Ellen the day before, we went back for more and took Camel's Hump for #52 on the NE67 hiking list. We headed up the Burrows Trail. It is blazed in blue and easy enough to follow. We took it up to the hut clearing and then followed the Long Trail to the summit. 360 degree views were to be had even with all the haze.
We continued on the Long Trail down to the Alpine Trail in search of the B24 crash site. We ended up finding both wings, then headed out to the Monroe trail to get back up to the clearing.
Once there, we chatted with the caretaker for a bit, then had an uneventful trip back down the Burrows Trail. Two tiring, but fulfilling days in Vermont! :)
We did post a video on YouTube for anyone interested in trail conditions or the hike itself. Just click the link...
