2 upper lots filled and cars resorted to roadside parking. Not sure if anyone made use of winter lot 0.3 miles lower but this is a good option. Camel's Hump Road in fine condition; a little rough and narrow in the last 0.3 miles. |

Well blazed, excellent signage, nothing significant to comment on. |

Many out today. Water scarce from pond beside Dean Tr. until 0.5 miles down Monroe Tr.. |

| Lost and Found: |
A couple of kids hats displayed perfectly on lower part of Monroe Tr.. Assume they were left there intentionally. |

Monroe Tr., Dean Tr., Long Trail(north), Monroe Tr.
Hard to top today's conditions. Great weather and views. Trails very dry with just a few wet spots and a few rocks I slipped slightly on going down (very worn out shoes). Talked to caretakers about the (earlier this summer) bear situation and they said they had a plan approved by biologist that has been working and situation looks positive for all. |
