Comments
Comments: The wind-swept packed snow and amount of ice on Lake Trail would be easier to pass if hikers had microspikes. On the AT/LT, soft snow under 6in. We made the hike with waterproof backpacking boots and trekking poles, though a hard slip/fall on a hidden ice patch was taken.
No other people seen on trail.
