Comments
Comments: Went up and down Sunset Ridge trail from 9:45-3pm. Spent about 30-45 minutes on the summit enjoying some VT beer and cheese and crackers. The trail is in good condition with plenty of steps to aid the beginning uphill to cantilever rock. After you hit around treeline area; more slabs and scramble areas with rough footing. Fun going up but more annoying going down. Saw two different middle school groups of kids with about 100 in both; a few groups besides that. Met some cool dudes doing the LT up top and a few other guys doing overnights. The weather was supposed to drop drastically but as of the 22nd trail conditions were nice. Foilage is just starting to change so it will be a couple weeks until its prime. Would also suggest stopping at the Alchemist in Stowe for some great beer after. Cheers
