7.5 mile circuit; beautiful beautiful just beautiful [lemon jelly]; sunny day, light breeze. 360 views of the Adirondacks, Canada, Maine, NH & Vermont. Could see Mansfield and other 4,000-footers. According to 1 guidebook, this was labeled "very strenuous" - only difficulty was ascending the 2 vertical cliffs. We were on the trail for 5 hours. Glorious hike. Hit up idyl time, lost nation, & alchemist post climb. |
