Comments
Comments: A huge range of conditions, trail was icy at the bottom at 9am, but a lot of the bottom ice had melted by one. In between there was a ton of ice, rock and a section of deep snow in the middle. We brought the snowshoes up and wore them for about half a mile, but didn't put them back on for the decent. Very easy to posthole. Top was more ice and rock. Much of the ice was wet and horribly slippery without traction. Streams were very high, both cascade falls were spectacular.
