Jerusalem is in great shape well blazed (blue) and easy to follow. Lots of maple sap lines down low as the trail cuts through private property, use care. Ice is under the new powdered snow so traction is recommended. Used snowshoes all day, very useful along the ridge (LT) but light crampons would be fine too. Minor area where you pop out to the ski trail, stay to the right along the edge to avoid the downhillers. Missed the trail along the ridge only once but quickly backtracked. Tough to see the LT white markers on snow covered trees but was able to follow postholes and picked it up again. No views on a very cold and windy day but congrats to Wildpeaks for his NE67 finish! |
