Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Gore road to the Groton State Forest Road is still gated. I walked the entire loop today and found it to be mud free and mainly passable if the gate were to open.

Comments
Comments: This ended up being a longer hike due to the road walk. I walked up to the height of land on the north side of the Groton State Forest Road. I then bushwhacked up the peak in open woods. The route was snowfree. There is lots of low growth which was not too bad now, but would be more restricting once leafed. The highpoint is recognized. For variety, I walked the south side of the road to return.
