Entrance to park off Rt. 12 open now until 11-28 for usage of upper parking lot. Gate probably will be locked again after deer hunting season but parking lot near beach will be open all winter, as has been in past, I believe. |

Family obs kept me local so figured I'd give a report for Elmore. Barebooted up but used microspikes most of way down. First time this year with significant ice on trail. Tower section the worst of it. Trail dry this morning as still fairly well frozen. Very little snow. |
