Comments
Comments: burrows trail mostly dry. around 2800 I jumped off for the bushwhack to bald hill. woods were mostly open though the undergrowth from the saddle on the ridge up to the summit is quite robust. I noted some sort of once maintained trail on the summit. some nice viewpoints the best being just south of the recognized highpoint. a fine view close up view to camels hump as well as ethan allen. on the way back to the trail I stayed a bit farther north along the connecting ridge and found less undergrowth to deal with. back on the trail the going was good, if quite busy, to the summit. it had been a few years and it was nice to take in the views.
