upper crossings still well frozen, lower crossings ok with care. solid stepping stones under unstable ice. |

some person with strength and grit has made the trip with a bowsaw. there is only one blowdown left that you have to crawl under. |

ridgeline trail in pretty good condition despite all the postholes from that day the snow got real soft and the guy without snowshoes had a devil of a time by the look of it. after the thaw the snow froze down right hard and i had no trouble going up and down with just microspikes. you might prefer snowshoes; i had mine with me but didn't wear them. |
