trail pretty much same as described by joe on thursday.
lots of people out on skis, snowshoes, sleds, you name it. i only went half up the summit cone from the clearing because i didn't feel like going up into the wind but microspikes were fine as far as i went. other hikers went to summit in everything ranging from coils to serious traction. everybody seemed happy with their choices.
one hiker overheard observing "nobody is under-geared today"
