Lot on West Union Street has room for about 8 cars. Maybe half full in the morning, more cars when we got back mid afternoon. Mostly folks walking the dogs on the lower trails, I don't think anyone but us went to the summit today or yesterday. |

| Comments: |
There was a variety of different kinds of snow today. We used microspikes from the car to the summit and then most of the way back down. Yesterday's inch or two of snow was the only snow until near the summit where it appeared to be a monorail covered with the new snow. The Lookout Rock trail was similar with a few old postholes but mostly solid frozen old snow. On the way down the snow was melting, getting soft and sticky making it a bit slippery even with the microspikes but we did ok. We took them off about a half mile from the trailhead, as the trail was mostly bare. Thanks to Lone Wolf for a nice trip. |
