Comments
Comments: Parked where the upper hollow road ends. stayed straight from parking area and followed stream at all uncertain trail choices. seemed as though a bear had the same idea that we did as we followed its tracks a good ways up the trail. At approximately the 2 mi. mark we came to a T intersection where the left went downhill and right continued uphill at a gradual grade. We went right at this intersection until next intersection where left continued flat and straight and right continued up hill. Again we went to the right and shortly found a marked junction for the spur trail to the South peak. The junction has a sign that says "THE TOWER" there is also a tree in the center of the junction with a couple of door knobs screwed on the tree. We went and enjoyed the view from the south peak, then returned to the junction and continued straight through for maybe another .5 mi. to Dorset Peak. Because the trail looked as though it had not been traveled in a very long time, We had to retrace our steps back to the car.
