I parked on Pinkham road, near the spur that leaves past a sugaring operation and is shown running up the drainage north of Umpire. |

Still lots of snow up here. Snowshoes were a must and I wore them the entire way. Snow is supportive, but getting wet and sticky.
I followed the road up the drainage, soon turning towards the peak and bushwhacking straight up. Highpoint was recognized only by a string, old register may have been under snow on ground. |
