Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Your dog needs some pretty trail savvy skills here. It's a rough and tough climb out of the notch with ladders and ledges. Bring water as may of the sources are dry. Please continue to observe trail etiquette and also leash dogs at the pond as there are many areas that are being re-veggitated.

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: One sock... Probably a Thru's sock. It was way up on the trail.

Comments
Comments: I'm really impressed that I did this trail originally in the rain. Today, in much better weather, I followed the original route of the LT and it was still difficult. I enjoyed every minute of this walk and I am happy that I did this one today. Mansfield looked great through the haze of the fires from out west. Weather could not have been better.
