Comments
Comments: We hiked the LT from Hazen's Notch to Jay Pass with two short bushwhacks. Some mud, but not as bad as other LT sections I've been on in the past few weeks. No snow and little to no ice.

We bushwhacked sugarloaf mountain, from the height of land to the northwest. The woods were open. We found a recognized summit on what seemed to be the highest bump and an older recognized summit nearby. Shortly after the LT began to descend from South Gilpin, we launched a bushwhack on Gilpin. The woods were mainly open and the bushwhack to the recognized summit is fairly short.
