| Trails: |
Monroe Trail, Long Trail |
| Date of Hike: |

| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Very little space at the trailhead (and officially no parking -- you could fit one car right on the corner at most). Winter/overflow parking fully cleared, plenty of space. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow - Unpacked Powder, Snow - Drifts, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable) |
| Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes, Light Traction |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
A few stream crossings lower down with crusted, unstable snow overhanging the water, but easy to catch, and easy to cross. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Husky heaven. Traction is perfect, even near the summit, so even the most timid trail dog would be fine. Trail is firm enough to support paws, but off track is deep powder. |
| Bugs: |
Mwahahaa. No. |

| Comments: |
Very well packed with a few exceptions w/ drifting and soft spots. Summit has little to no snow or ice. Dean trail cutoff looked poorly tracked. No traffic on the Alpine Trail below the summit. |
