I've talked about it before but before ME, before the ADK's, before NH this was home and I love it. I spent 17 years growing up on Shady Rill Road and who says you can't go home. And guess what Putnam is on the 50 finest! Trail up to Hunger was tracked out but went to snowshoes to give a better base to even things out. God was smiling on me today as someone who knew the trail had been out, tracked it out and even cut out the deadfall. Obviously god loves babes and fools. Went to the second bump on Putnam. Great views all day in a blue, gray, purple world. |
