We were able to drive a mid-clearance AWD vehicle up to the trial parking on Liberty Hill Road. The road was steep and muddy, which could be problematic/damaging. Less capable cars may have made it, though with less assurance. |

We followed the road up to the T-junction with the trail and bushwhacked up to the north ridge. Woods were mainly open. Snow was more supportive low, with softer wet spring snow up high. The highpoint is recognized. |
