Comments
Comments: another new one for me that I have driven by for years. After you come out of the parking lot to Gore Road go down about 2/10 and I took the right lane, go another 2/10 and take the left. Climbs past and old meadow and apple trees. Not sure the distance but goes up maybe a mile and then takes a hard left over a bridge and then goes down hill looking at the topo map I said mentally that this would be the place to go up. I went down to the bottom of the hill and did not see any tracks going up. However as I came back up the hill I found a track that had been out and back heading in the right direction. The snow was so rotten that if I had not seen the track I would have headed back. I climbed up and to the right for maybe 3/4 of a mile. A moose had postholed some of the trail but overall it was intact and going up pretty easy. At the sign in a nalgene hanging from a tree GJB had signed in on 3/26 and did a hell of a job. The pen on top was dead if any one is heading up. Did some deep postholes on the way down and the rain came in hard but very enjoyable.
