Recommended Equipment: Light Traction
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The first (and biggest) crossing was tricky due to high water from the rain and snowmelt, so I just walked right through. The others are more straightforward (rock hop, step-over etc.)
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There was a duck-under blowdown a short distance past the wilderness boundary, but otherwise no major issues.

Comments
Comments: The Lye Brook Trail and the spur path to Lye Brook Falls were mostly snow and ice free, with some scattered areas of sheet ice past the wilderness boundary. That said, I'd still recommend bringing light traction for the icy areas.

With all this mild weather and the recent rain, the snow in this area of the Green Mountain State has been melting very rapidly, which made for a hell of a sight when I got to the falls. That said, most of the snow here is already gone, and this is a seasonal waterfall, so if you want to come here and see Lye Brook Falls in all its glory, time is running out.
