lower brooks open step overs, Waterfall is opening up but easy crossing. |

Trail is hard packed, good going if a bit bumpy and postholed. Microspikes worked great. Points off the main trail ( N. Summit or White Rock Mtn.) require snowshoes , breakable crust. Not many hikers for a Sunday. |
