Road up in nice shape. 4 portapotties in lower lot at top. Lots never filled today. |

Only one requiring any thought on upper Monroe because of an awkward step involved. |

Couple blow downs on Long Tr. section. Trails in great condition otherwise. |

Many well behaved pups out today. Few stretches with just puddle ops on water. LT may have a few spots where some dogs may need assistance. |

Black flies, deer flies, mosquitoes. Used deet twice so no issue. Caretaker said mosquitoes were the problem lately. |

Up via Monroe/Dean/LT and down via LT/Monroe. All trails dry making for enjoyable hiking. 11:45-5:45 hike on a Friday made for fairly quiet trails by popular 4K standards. |
