Hike #3 of the day was Pico! I started at about 4 and was on the summit by 5:15. Trails are a super highway. They are currently doing construction for a new tower adjacent to the old one. I found it wild they where still working at 515 on a Saturday! (Jackhammering with an excavator) They where nice enough to let me pass to the outlook where I had a delightful summit beer and short nap before sunset. It is heavily signed "do not enter" and there is a camera mounted on the current tower facing where you'd need to enter from |
