 | Comments: |
Spotty bare patches on lower section but the trail is packed for boots from this side. I micro-spiked to the summit of Mt. Hunger (3,539') with some new light accumulation over solid base. Put on snowshoes for the trek over to White Rock Mtn. (3,194'), they are a must for this route right now. Trail finding requires close attention but is getting easier in spring conditions, with less snow encrustation of spruce/fir obscuring corridor & blazes. There were tracks up to White Rock from Middlesex. Views of the White Mtns. were outstanding today from both peaks. |
