| Comments: |
The only other time I hiked Camel's Hump was two dozen years ago. I had completely forgotten about how nice the views are from the open summit. There were lots and lots of hikers out today. Some young children were out today as the Monroe Trail approach has generally easy to moderate grades and good footing. The Long Trail heading south off the summit is rocky but safe in dry conditions. There are two well worn side trails off the Alpine Trail that lead to wing sections of a downed aircraft. |
