some dudes took their dog up the LT on north ridge and it didn’t seem to like it... |

packed trail up to Taft Lodge. Above the Lodge was drifted a lot more, but packed path still goes up the chimney on LT to the Chin. Looped down profanity and broke trail through 2-4ft deep snow, would’ve been brutal w/o snowshoes. Brought spikes, crampons, axe and snowshoes - used them all and was happy to have each piece of gear I brought... OK rope and harnesses were overkill, but made it fun instead of sketchy. |
