The middle of our fair state got less snow then south, only 2 to 4" of snow on trail. Snowshoes not needed, but light traction will make your hike much safer above halfway up.
Got to summit parking lot to find it plowed. Road was plowed and sanded; unsure why, construction on antennae? Never seen it plowed before. Just enough fresh snow over road to ski down for half a mile, then sides were wide enough to ski on. |
