| Comments: |
Top to bottom snow coverage still (aside from summit ledges). Frozen granular, though some warm weather and or sun will return it to spring snow. Monorail on most of it as well. No snow in the valley, about a foot of snow at the trailhead, quickly increasing to 2 to 4 feet. Ledges to summit from tramway building were bare and dry (though the LT South ledges beyond that looked to have some ice). Also some bare ground on a closed ski trail, but the rest of the ski trails were well endowed. Herd path to Big Jay had 2 to 6 feet of snow with the frozen granular crust. Summit jar just barely above the snowpack. Very, very windy on top of Jay Peak. |
