Comments
Comments: Trail is a mix of mud, ice, and slushy snow. Microspikes were needed the whole way. We carried snowshoes but they weren't necessary. Trail is well covered in trees which made it a great choice for such a windy day. We could hear it howling above the trees but we stayed protected throughout the whole hike. Great 360 degree views from the summit firetower, although it was shaking from the wind and we only went part of the way up.
