broke trail all the way up Hunger by myself. whatever steep ice section normally exist were completely filled in w/ snow and easy to handle in snowshoes. Didn’t run into anybody until almost back to the car; for some inexplicable reason, 8-10 people chopping up the trail bare booting when they all had snowshoes w/ them... why? better to wear them than carry them and makes the trail nicer for everyone else :) |
