Snowshoes car to car. Crampons would not have been overkill on the last 100 yards up the profanity chute as the crust was hard. Snowshoes worked ok on the way up but the wind was almost knocking us off our feet. Didn’t feel safe going back down that way so we had to traverse the ridge and head down the chute by the gondola and then make our way back to the LT. A great adventure. |
