Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Crossings on the Ridge Tr.; although minor; were a little bit of a challenge due to elevated banks on each side.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Newer section of Ridge Tr.(Balance Rock to lower jct. with Fire Tower Tr.) is more recently blazed than section from fire tower to Balance Rock so more helpful if following blazes. Many trees and branches dipping into trails; hopefully mother nature will save them before hikers break them off.

Comments
Comments: Snowshoes all day. Thank you to those who broke out trails up to foundation. I broke out from there to tower and the Ridge Tr.. An exhausting adventure for sure done mainly to provide a path for couple of nice hikers behind me. Ridge Tr. is about 90% on trail and Fire Tower Tr. is mostly on trail. Soaking wet from all the snow out of trees. All seen today were in snowshoes or ski's but trails are no where near packed especially the Ridge Tr.. Nice day to get out.
