Dog-Related Notes: A couple of dogs were enjoying the day. However, they ascended a different trail. The last portion of the LT is much too steep for a dog.

Comments: If you’re hiking the LT to the summit ensure that you have adequate traction and an ice axe. It gets very sketchy in a couple of spots.
