| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Suggested parking along Rte 15 to avoid a somewhat dangerous curve on the Hogback Road. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
Looks as if river flow during high water has dumped lots of rock, gravel into the secondary crossing just south of the suspension bridge. With today's water level one could simply cross slightly upriver and avoid the steep bank where there was a ladder at one time. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Excellently maintained section of LT. Well marked bypass route due to peregrine falcon nesting. |

Putting this report in to let hikers know of trail closure. Access to Prospect Rock cliffs is closed from March 15 to August 1 for peregrine falcon nesting. Long Tr. is rerouted around so still a nice walk in the woods just no access to the cliff which was the high lite of this hike. Disappointing to find this; but I have much respect for closure protecting this sensitive species. |
