Lincoln Gap Trail N
Drove up from Boston around 0200 and arrived at TH 0530. Up and over Abraham was challenging. Over to Ellen was fun. The 2 watering holes uncharmingly posted are just that. I had to stop at a low bubbling creek to drink water as I ran out. Logged 20,000 steps, 12 miles, 7.5 hours of hiking. I think Sugarbush or LT maintenance folks should post a sign at each of the ski cross-overs, as people seemed to be confused. I watched a video of this hike before I went so I knew the way. Missed the plane crash. Swam at Warren Falls after and then drove to Burlington to pick up 3 cases of BBC. Here be dragons..... |
