| Lost and Found: |
Alright, so I wrote my original report on my phone while on the drive home. Afterwards however, we realized that we lost an aluminum walking stick that we carry with us just in case. It's brown and not particularly large, but it has some sentimental value. I'm not expecting anything, but I'll provide my email in the event that someone might have found it. Thank you! |

About a year ago we hiked this peak, but clouds socked in almost all of the views. Today we got to see what we missed from that day. I recalled this being the easiest NE 4000 footer I’ve done, and I still stand by that. LT has fairly rough footing , but it’s pretty easy until you hit the scrambles, which were short and easier to ascend than to descend. Thought about going further to Lincoln Peak, and while we had plenty of energy for it we were content with the hike to the summit (we’ll see if we regret that later!).
Today’s weather made this one of the best hikes this year! Felt much more like a fall hike than an August one, and the summit was a bit chilly! After a bunch of rather humid hikes something like this was well needed. |
