A nice hike up to the summit and over to Lookout Rock. The trail seems to have some incredible elevation gain which was an excellent way to start the morning. Shortly after leaving the Lookout I encountered a torrential thunderstorm which only intensified until I got back to the trailhead. I was very happy for extra clothes and boots. I met two other hikers who I'm sure where as equally drenched. |
