Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Two local dogs (I'll call them Pinn and Acle) waiting near summit; only company I had for ten minutes of summit time. Left them there and heard them greeting the next group of 3 as I was heading down. Nice dogs; love to know how many times they've summited.

Comments
Comments: Great late afternoon hike using Meadows lot for quicker hike. Usual awesome view of Mansfield from top of road section of hike. Vista (above trail jct.) has grown in with clear view to Camel's Hump but Mansfield only visible through branches. Trails widened considerably (nothing new) but overall I was pleased with conditions; no garbage or noticeable trail damage. 2 cars in bottom lot and about 12 in Meadows lot; first time I can recall more being at Meadows lot so probably word has gotten around about this option.
