Dog-Related Notes: Its a fine trail for dogs IF you can go when its not busy. I enjoy letting my dog off leash and unless you come here in poor weather or mid winter its kind of busy for that. Today, December 1st I still rain into little kids and leashed my dog until I was well up the mountain.

Comments
Comments: This is a popular but nice little hike which rewards you with a nice beaver pond, an old fire watcher cabin, and a view from the top. Parking is off Bowen Rd. Trying to correct the error on google maps of the parking area location.

Trail is marked to the beaver pond, from there to the top it is an obvious herd path.
